Taking control of my website

I kind of split the company in two at the start of the year. It was the right thing to do, as I needed to think about the two halves separately. But now, four months into the year, it's time to bring them back together.

The website for EchoDek is awful. It doesn't convey what we're about in the slightest. The website for Client Robot has decent copy but nothing else. And of course, everything's split across two sites.

So I was thinking about how to unify them. And how to define our uniqueness. And what our purpose was.

I sat on the sofa, after putting down "A slice of the pie", and started scribbling some ideas out. None of them were right. I didn't feel it. So I went to bed. Slightly annoyed but determined to leave it for another day.

And then it happened. Those three things, uniqueness, purpose and unification, all came together in a flash of inspiration.

Sometimes you just need to stop thinking about it for the good stuff to happen.

Take action: Stop thinking about it.
