Overtime

Some companies ask their staff to work late.

“We’ve got a crunch on, can you just get this done”.

“We’ll have to come in early”.

“Another late night at the office”.

Well, that won’t happen if you’re working for me.

At the moment, I’m the manager of the business, as well as the owner. Part of managing is making sure I do the planning. If people are working late, then I’ve got my planning wrong. So it should be me that’s working late. Not them.
