Holidays
So one of your goals is more time away from work.
What does that look like?
Let's say you fancy a two weeks off at Christmas, two weeks off in the summer, a week in spring and a week in autumn, plus a few more days to deal with the other stuff that happens.
That's about 7 weeks in total. Already we're way above the statutory minimum for an employee. But you're working for yourself, so there has to be a benefit to the extra stress and worry, right?
7 weeks off means 45 weeks on. 5 working days per week means 225 days per year.
Take action: What's your target income? For both you and for your company. Divide it by 225. That's how much you need to make each day.
