EchoDek exists because...

After I got into bed, I was suddenly hit by the inspiration.

What is unique about my company? There's me. I love talking to people and I love small, tiny, micro-businesses. They're the most fun to work with and they're the most passionate about what they do.

What unites EchoDek and ClientRobot? Both sides are all about systems that transform businesses - EchoDek by saving time and reducing costs, Client Robot by increasing sales.

What is our purpose? Why does EchoDek exist?

EchoDek exists:

-because people are amazing

-because small business is better than big business

-because the right systems can transform lives

-because we want to to do the right thing

-because our work makes us proud

All of those statements felt like a kick to the stomach. I felt them, deeply. They describe what I'm about, what the staff are about, what the company is about to its core.

And once I had that, the mission, vision and values came equally easily.

We improve the lives of independent business owners and their staff by increasing sales, reducing costs and saving time.

Independent business owners and their staff. Businesses that have people working for them - but only the small ones. That's our uniqueness; most people say they cater for these firms, but really they're looking for the big jobs. We're not; I love the small businesses.

Every business, no matter how small, can benefit from the right systems, tailored to your exact needs, with no need for complex jargon and high pressure sales.

Again, we can offer you something tailored. Even though you're small. Everyone else just gives you an off-the-shelf package with a quick training video. And I love talking to people and helping them out - so no jargon and no nasty sales stuff.

As long as we keep those values in mind, I'm sure we won't go wrong. Keep it simple, keep it small. Although we do automation and systems, it's all about the people - how can we free up your time from the tedious stuff, how can we help you so you can go to the park with your dog, instead of staring at a screen long into the evening. And, my family is from Assam; of course tea is better than coffee.
