Hi, I'm Baz and my company EchoDek unlocks cost savings in small businesses by analysing what you do, streamlining it and then automating it where we can. Giving you more time and money.
A few days back it was my birthday.
I took the day off. Well, I tried to. Of course, some stuff happened and I had to get involved. But I only spent a few hours working.
Once the dust had settled a bit, I thought - now I've got this spare time, what shall I do with myself? And I couldn't think of anything.
It was a sunny day, so I just went and sat in the park. Doing nothing.
I can't remember the last time I did nothing. Most of my days are a race against the clock - in ten minutes time, I need to do this, in half an hour, I need to get to that place. It's easy to get caught up in a fast-paced, hectic life-style. Especially when running your own business, dealing with kids and all the other stuff that life can throw at you.
But you need to remember to stop.
Take the time to do nothing.
Just sit in the park, enjoying the sunshine.
Your brain will thank you for it.
