Isn't it more tax efficient to make a loss?

Some people think it's more tax efficient for their business to be making a loss.

That might be true for some people - but I doubt it's true for people like us.

Think of it this way - what's the actual point of your business?

For me, and for most people who decided to quit working for other people and start working for ourselves, we did this because we wanted the flexibility to choose our hours and the freedom to choose how we do things.

Not as some vehicle for minimising our tax liabilities.

And if you want your business to actually support you in your chosen life, then you need to make a profit.

Running a loss to avoid taxes is like shelling out £10 to save £3. It makes no sense.

Running a profit to give you the life you deserve - that's why we do what we do.
