How do you stand out from the crowd on social media?

Some people are funny.

The thing is clients are looking for solutions to their problems.  

They have this problem.  If they solve it, they will either save money.  Or make money.  

It might be that someone funny is perfect to solve it for them.  Or someone beautiful.  Or someone who brings in the crowds.  

But it might just be that they really need some technical skills from someone who knows what they're doing, who can do the job really well and can do it for the right price.

And if that's what they're looking for, the way to stand out from the crowd is to speak to them directly.  

Don't talk about how you build websites.  

Talk about how you helped an online store increase their sales by 300%.  That will attract the attention of anyone selling things online.  

Don't talk about your skills in React Native.  

Talk about how the Health & Safety consultancy completed their on-site audits in half the time by using your custom built software.  That will attract the attention of anyone who has to do site reports.  

Funny helps you stand out from the crowd.  

But so does knowing what your client is looking for and speaking directly to them.
