How and Why I write these letters

When I tell people that I send out a daily email, most are amazed.

How do you find enough stuff to write about?

How do you find the time to write them?

Why would you do that?

I read an interesting article recently about “blogging with a small b”. In the olden days, blogging was something that people did to build an audience. You could get on the front page of Digg, or Hacker News or some such site; they would send you a load of traffic and you’d be internet-famous.

But as Tom states, those days are over.

Blogging, publishing to your website, and, in my case, to your friends over email, is about staying in touch.

Take action: If you’d like to know more about how to improve your blogging skills, get in touch with my friend Lisa. She can either write your blogs for you, or she can teach you how to blog effectively. And she’s also a published author.
