So you've got an event happening in about six weeks time.
You've been round and you know that a load of people are interested. Interested enough to give you their email address.
And then you thought "but I don't want to bother them too much, they'll hate me if I send them loads of emails". So you wait for four weeks, then send them a reminder about the event.
And only a handful of people turn up.
The problem is signing up for an email is easy. And people are busy.
So they forget what they signed up for.
Leave it four weeks before reminding them of the event and, firstly, they will probably have made other plans, and secondly, they will have probably forgotten who you are and why they signed up in the first place.
Instead, you need to send them a sequence of emails, regularly, building up to the big event.
But how do you do that without pissing them off?
